CHARITY RIDE LONDON 2019

Our Managing Director has once again donned his Lycra in the name of Charity. This time to take part in the 2019 Prudential London with his Daughter to raise money for Tommys.org

Tommy’s fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and provide pregnancy health information to parents. They believe it is unacceptable that one in four women lose a baby during pregnancy and birth. Tommy’s want every parent to have the best possible pregnancy outcomes and take home happy healthy babies.

Tommy’s helps prevent parents from going through baby loss, provide information to empower women through pregnancy and to support those who have suffered pregnancy complications or loss.

“It started when my super fit daughter called to say she had a ballot entry for the 100 mile Prudential Ride London. I felt it my duty to help her along by joining in. Not wanting all that effort to be wasted we rode to raise money for a small but important charity by the name of Tommy’s.

It’s a cause very close to our family and one which provides support and funds research into stillbirth and miscarriage.

The charity had more than 150 riders on the day spread across the three different distances and are on course to raise about £200,000 from their efforts.

Tony managed to raise £425 for Tommy’s this year.
